Weather Tips

Snow/Foot Tip

If your dogs paw looks like this:- put into TEPID water and pull off the balls of snow gently with your finger and thumb, ensuring that the pad fur is not matted and no debris is left between the pads, then pat dry.

Wet/Snowy Weather Tip

The snow can take its toll on some dogs coats, it is important particularly with dogs that have longer coats, that if they get wet or clogged with snow that the dog is dried thoroughly. If the dog is allowed to remain wet or damp, matting can occur by compression when the dog lays down. If your dog is prone to matting consider a good quality coat in wet/snowy weather.
